Breath of Life: Fayetteville, NC Pulmonary Rehabilitation

There’s hope for those suffering from chronic lung disease -- at Cape Fear Valley Heart & Vascular Center! Our Breath of Life pulmonary rehabilitation program offers comprehensive rehabilitation care for people with chronic lung disease.

Our Fayetteville, NC pulmonary rehabilitation classes are supervised by nurses, respiratory therapists and exercise specialists and the program operates under the direction of a Medical Director, who is a licensed physician. Dietary consults and psychological counseling are also available. At Breath of Life, you can trust that your pulmonary health is in good hands!

Attentive Care & Rehabilitation for Chronic Lung Disease

Pulmonary rehabilitation patients begin in Phase II, which is held at the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, NC. Phase II classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and include exercise, respiratory health education, stress management and dietary consults according to each patient’s needs.

After completion of Phase II, patients may choose to continue in the maintenance phase of our pulmonary rehabilitation program, which is held at the Cape Fear Valley Health System’s HealthPlex wellness center. During the maintenance phase, patients continue to be monitored by respiratory therapists and medical personnel. Maintenance classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and lung disease patients can participate as long as they wish.
