Cape Fear Valley Mobile Integrated Healthcare Hoke County EMS began operating in Hoke County in June of 2014. We provide service to Hoke County by operating 4 transport units and two QRVs daily, with the ability to expand to 7 transporting units in times of disaster. Our EMS agency provides 911 and non-emergency capabilities to the citizens of Hoke County.
We employ 36 Paramedics, 3 Advanced EMTs, and 12 EMTs. Our fleet is made up of 3 QRVs and 8 Ambulances, with one ambulance capable of bariatric transport. We also have an All-Terrain Vehicle that can transport one patient to a waiting ambulance.
Hoke County responds to approximately 9100 calls annually.
Hoke County participates in the State Medical Assistance Team, the Urban Search and Rescue Team, and the Peer Support Team.
Hoke County EMS won the Bronze medal at JEMS in 2018 and won regional competition for the NC state office of EMS in 2017.
