Specialty Patient Services

Our Specialty Pharmacy services are unique from most neighborhood retail and mail-order pharmacies. Our pharmacists are directly linked to your Cape Fear Valley Health care providers and are dedicated to serving you throughout your entire treatment process. We offer:

• Initial medication review and counseling: Upon receipt of your prescription, we will call you to discuss how your medication works, and what you should expect during your therapy.
• Financial Services: We will work with your insurance company to help get your medication approved, and facilitate access to financial assistance programs to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
• Free Delivery: We will deliver your medication to you at no charge (within our delivery radius), or you can pick up your prescriptions at one of our convenient pharmacy locations.
• Refill Reminders: To ensure you don't run out of medication, you will receive a telephone call regarding your medication about a week before your refill is due.
• Clinical Management: Our pharmacists will contact you periodically to review your medication, assess any side effects you are experiencing, and answer any questions you may have.
