Overview

Our Internal Medicine Residency Program operates on a 6+2 schedule, where residents rotate through a variety of rotations including inpatient and elective assignments for six weeks, followed by two weeks dedicated to continuity clinic. During the two weeks in the continuity clinic, residents see their cohort of patients for 4-5 half-days and are exposed to various subspecialty clinics longitudinally.

We offer two unique clinical tracks designed to help residents tailor their curriculum to meet their career goals:

  1. Inpatient Hospitalist Track: This track focuses on equipping residents with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective inpatient hospitalist medicine, preparing them for a career in this field.
  2. Outpatient Primary Care Track: Designed for those interested in ambulatory medicine, this track prepares residents for a career in outpatient primary care.

Additionally, we offer a wide range of subspecialty electives to cover the breadth of Internal Medicine, including:
