Employee Transfer Process

Employees must now use Lawson Employee Space web portal, available on Infoweb to apply for internal position(s). If a staff member does not have access to a computer, he or she may visit Human Resources at 1320 Medical Drive, to utilize one of the kiosk workstations in the lobby to access Lawson Employee Space.

Lawson Employee Space provides employees the opportunity to view open positions, along with job summary and job requirements. The system will automatically identify you as an internal applicant, simplify the application process, and reduce required paperwork. Employees will be able to search for internal jobs by keyword search, category, location and work type.

While viewing jobs, employees will be able to apply, save a job to their job cart as well as view a job as a PDF file so that they may print for their records. Employees may view applications that they have submitted under “My Applications”, when they applied, and the status of their application.

Where to Find Lawson Employee Space

Access via the Infoweb > Applications > Lawson Employee Space. Employees will log in with their network ID and password. Selecting “Opportunities” on the employee home page allows employees to view and apply for current job openings. Note: if you don’t know your network ID or password you must contact IST Help Desk at 910-615-5555.

Staff must inform their current supervisor of their intention to apply for another position within the Health System before doing so. Expressing an interest in transferring within the Health System will not adversely affect a staff member's current employment. There are, however, specific procedures and qualifying periods for staff applying for a transfer.
