Overview

Students and faculty who have created an account in Rotation Manager or have been added to a new rotation will receive emails with log-in information for Workday. This is our Human Resources/Finance system, which will also be used for all learning, including Epic. Every student and faculty member will get an account with access to learning only, after the rotation has been approved. Once the rotation has been approved in Rotation Manager the school will 'Assign' students to the rotation. New students will complete the assigned hospital documents with the exception of 'Snapshot of Completed Workday Learning - New Students Only'. Once all other documents are completed a Workday account will be created.

Cape Fear Valley Health High School Helper Program

Cape Fear Valley Health System is looking for hard working high school students who are at least 16 years of age and looking for service hours. Students who are available 2 -3 hours after school, weekends, and school holidays will be offered service projects at Cape Fear Valley Health System.

Cape Fear Valley Health Shadowing Program 

Cape Fear Valley Health System works towards providing a safe healthcare environment for all patients, as well as a learning environment for all employees, students, and community members who would like to participate in the shadowing program for up to 90-days total within one calendar year.

How to Apply

  1. Reach out to T&D@capefearvalley.com to receive the Shadowing Program Application
  2. Find a Cape Fear Valley employee to sponsor your shadowing experience
  3. Complete a Shadowing Request Form
  4. Email copies of the following required documents:
  5. Vaccinations: MMR (x2) or Titer, Varicella (x2) or Titer, TDAP, Current Season Influenza (between October to March)
  6. TB Skin Test (PPD) within the last 12 months OR QuantiFeron (blood) test within 6 months
  7. Photo Headshot in Color for badge identification d. Last 5 digits of SSN for badge identification e.Screenshot of required Shadowing Onboarding

Fillable online document used by schools throughout the year for new and returning students. This form will need to be accessed outside the School Task List.
