Mariah Owusu-Agyei, MD

Dr. Mariah Owusu-Agyei, MD is a double-board certified Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatologist with expertise in dermatologic oncology, facial reconstruction, and general dermatology. She leads Cape Fear Valley Health’s Mohs program, accepting community referrals and delivering personalized, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Originally from Ghana, Dr. Mariah Owusu-Agyei moved to the Bronx, New York, at the age of seven. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she explored interests in finance and worked as a financial analyst in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Driven by a longstanding passion for medicine, Dr. Owusu-Agyei returned to Penn for her medical education. She then completed her dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
