About Eric Walker, DO

Dr. Eric Walker Jr was raised in Baltimore Maryland and is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University. He obtained his medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg Virginia. He completed his Internal Medicine residency, here at Cape Fear Valley Hospital and its affiliate Campbell University.

Dr. Walker is a recent graduate working in the Fayetteville North Carolina area since 2019. He has been practicing outpatient Internal Medicine Primary Care since 2022 and currently serves as the Continuity clinic medical director for the Cape Fear Valley Internal Medicine program and an assistant professor for Methodist University. He serves as the chair of Cape Fear Valley’s Health Equity and Community Engagement committee, providing learners at the Resident, med school, undergraduate, and high school level with observer ships, shadowing, mentoring, and community engagement.

Dr. Walker is a member of the American College of Physicians, board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Walker Resides in Fayetteville North Carolina with his wife, daughter, and growing family.
