Cancer Center Medical Oncology

The Medical Oncology Department, located in the Cancer Center, offers chemotherapy in a comfortable, outpatient setting. It also facilitates clinical trial participation for patients needing improved treatment options and hope beyond conventional treatment methods.

From the waiting room to the treatment setting, services in the Medical Oncology Department are completely customized. For wheelchair patients, our facility has wider doorways, electric scales for wheelchair accommodation and electric exam tables for easy transfers. We have 20 treatment recliners and three treatment beds, giving patients the choice of privacy or the camaraderie of others. And we even keep extended office hours to make certain we’re easily accessible for everyone who needs us.

Our nurses maintain national certification in oncology nursing and have received special training to give them a deeper understanding of the unique healthcare needs of each cancer patient. Putting our patients’ care and comfort first is what we are all about.
