  • Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Science
  • I am from Clayton, NC and completed pharmacy school at Campbell University. I was initially drawn to pharmacy because of my passion for the sciences and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients. Over the course of my clinical experiences, that interest evolved into a strong commitment to patient care. I discovered a deep passion for applying clinical knowledge to complex cases and playing an active role in optimizing therapeutic outcomes as a healthcare provider.
  • During my pharmacy school rotations at Cape Fear Valley, I was continually impressed by the passion and dedication of the preceptors and staff toward resident and student development. Their commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and serving as accessible, knowledgeable mentors left a lasting impact. The diverse clinical experiences offered—alongside the opportunity to work with Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners—made Cape Fear Valley a clear choice for my PGY1 residency.
  • Throughout this residency year, I hope to further develop my clinical skills and expand my pharmacotherapy knowledge across a variety of practice settings. I am particularly interested in cardiology, endocrinology, and primary care—areas where pharmacists play a pivotal role in optimizing patient outcomes. My goal is to continue to develop my established clinical foundation to practice in a pharmacist-led setting, where collaborative, patient-centered care is prioritized. I am eager to learn from experienced clinicians, engage in meaningful patient interactions, and contribute to the advancement of pharmacy practice through evidence-based, team-driven care.
