Overview
$500 scholarship awarded to high school seniors who help plan and execute a blood drive at their school. This scholarship is funded through donations to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation and is jointly administered by the Foundation and Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center.
Since 2018, 25 scholarships have been awarded to local high school students.

The 2026 application is now open. To be considered, the application must be received or postmarked to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation no later than March 27, 2026.
