Cape Fear Valley Health is expanding access to behavioral health services for adolescents with the opening of Dorothea Dix Adolescent Care – Lillington, a new inpatient facility designed to meet the growing need for specialized mental health care in Harnett County and surrounding communities.

The new unit features 16 inpatient adolescent behavioral health beds, providing compassionate, evidence-based care for teens experiencing behavioral health challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

The addition of the new unit reflects Cape Fear Valley Health’s ongoing commitment to improving access to high-quality behavioral health services and addressing the increasing demand for adolescent mental health care.

Cape Fear Valley Health extends its gratitude to the many team members, community partners and supporters whose dedication helped make this important resource a reality.
