Overview
Cape Fear Valley Wound Care Center – Dunn provides specialized care for patients with chronic, complex, and non-healing wounds. Our experienced team takes a personalized approach to wound care, evaluating each patient’s condition and developing an individualized treatment plan designed to support healing and help prevent complications. We care for a variety of wounds, including diabetic wounds, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and other wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment.
Our Dunn location also offers advanced hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for certain conditions and types of wounds. During HBOT, patients breathe 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber, increasing the amount of oxygen delivered throughout the body and helping support the natural healing process. When appropriate, hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be incorporated into a comprehensive wound care plan alongside other specialized treatments.
Our wound care team works collaboratively with your primary care provider and other members of your healthcare team to coordinate treatment and support your overall health. Throughout your care, we focus on your comfort, individual needs, and progress, helping you understand your treatment and what you can do to support healing between visits.
