About Zulfiqar Ali, MD

Dr. Zulfiqar Ali is a board-certified pediatrician with over a decade of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to infants, children, and adolescents. He completed his pediatric residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, where he also served as a senior resident. Since 2013, Dr. Ali has cared for families in Georgia through his role at Southwest Georgia Healthcare and holds hospital privileges at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. His clinical interests include newborn care, neonatal resuscitation, and a variety of pediatric procedures.

Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, Dr. Ali is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with families from diverse backgrounds. He is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS). In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to pediatric research and presented on topics including celiac disease and pediatric trauma. Dr. Ali is passionate about helping children grow and thrive at every stage of development.
