About Siddharth Saraiya, MD

Siddharth A. Saraiya, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Virginia Tech in 2005. After a successful early career at the intersection of software engineering and finance, he followed his calling to medicine.

Dr. Saraiya attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Throughout his medical training, he contributed to numerous clinical research studies that were presented at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meetings and published in several peer-reviewed journals.

Before joining the practice, Dr. Saraiya served on the faculty at the University of Toledo and, most recently, the University of North Carolina. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and remains an active member of ASTRO.

In his free time, Dr. Saraiya enjoys the North Carolina outdoors with his wife and two sons. He is a multi-instrumentalist who enjoys reading and hiking with his family.
