Samantha Horowitz, DO

Dr. Samantha Horowitz is a board-certified family medicine physician with advanced fellowship training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at MAHEC Hendersonville and is currently completing a fellowship at Wake Forest, where her training includes advanced wound healing, limb salvage, surgical and medical wound management, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Dr. Horowitz has a strong interest in improving wound care access and outcomes, particularly for underserved populations. Her work has included developing wound education and prevention programs for unhoused patients, collaborating with community partners to expand affordable wound care options, and participating in clinical research focused on chronic venous leg ulcers. She is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care while helping patients navigate complex and chronic wounds.
