About Matthew Yartin, PA-C
Matthew Yartin is a certified Physician Assistant in Radiation Oncology and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). Although born in Amherst, New York, Matthew would call northeast Florida home for two decades after beginning high school there in 1999.
Matthew began his career in medicine working at St. Vincent’s Medical Center as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Computed Tomography Technologist. He would go on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Biotechnology from the University of North Florida. In 2021, he relocated to Fayetteville to attend Methodist University where he completed his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Matthew began his Physician Assistant career working in Emergency Medicine with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Central Harnett Hospital and Betsy Johnson Hospital before finding his true passion in Oncology. He loves working alongside his peers in Radiation Oncology to support patients during and after their treatments.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing golf, attending live music performances and hiking trails throughout the state.
