Ashlee Roybal, MD

Dr. Ashlee Roybal grew up in California and completed medical education in London at St. George's Hospital in London, UK. She returned to the U. S. in Huntington, West Virginia for her pediatric residency and was a chief resident at Marshall University. From there, Dr. Roybal went to St. Louis, Missouri for her pediatric critical care fellowship at Washington University. She now comes to Fayetteville with her wife and children to establish residency and begin working at Cape Fear Valley in the pediatric inpatient unit as well as the Pediatric ICU. Her academic interests include sedation outcomes and, specifically, how propofol administration impacts the short and long term clinical outcomes of critically ill children. She is also an assistant professor at Methodist University Medical School and is actively engaged with teaching medical students, residents, and other learners within medicine. Dr. Roybal loves to travel and spend time with her family when she is not in the hospital.
