Overview

Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation celebrated a historic night on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Greatest Needs Gala: 30 Years of Impact at the Center for Medical Education, presented by Dr. Joshua & Mary Jon Barkman, Dr. Benjamin & Cyndi Levine and Olde Fayetteville Insurance and Financial Services, Inc.. It was a wonderful evening filled with inspirational messages from our speakers, educational displays in our Impact Galleries, delicious bites from around the world, dance floor celebrations and more. Over $70,000 was raised the night of the Gala and when combined with sponsorships, we surpassed over $300,000 in gross revenue...the most money ever raised at a Foundation event in its 30-year history!

This means we will be able to continue providing support for multiple patient care programs and services like:
- Car Seats for families in need so they can safely transport their child home
- Music Therapy Sessions for our patients in the Dorothea Dix Adolescent Care Unit
- Lucas Chest Compression Systems for our patients experiencing a cardiac trauma
- Stuffed Animals for children being transported on EMS trucks
- Breast Cancer Educational Bags for newly diagnosed patients
- Screening Mammograms to patients without insurance

A HUGE thank you to our generous sponsors, donors and guests who came together to support local healthcare in our community. We are inspired by our community and look forward to continue making an impact over the next 30 years!

A lively celebration with guests dancing and raising their hands, surrounded by colorful decorations and vibrant lighting.
