The Women's and Children's Service Line of Cape Fear Valley Health System is comprised of a:

  1. 22-bed Pediatric /PICU unit
  2. 44-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  3. 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 5-bed triage unit
  4. 36-bed Family Centered Care Unit

Our pediatrics department provides care to children requiring inpatient hospitalization for a variety of medical, surgical and psychological illnesses or injury. Labor & Delivery unit is both a low and high-risk obstetrical unit that provides care to patients who are 20 weeks' gestation or greater. The NICU is a level III unit providing comprehensive service to premature infants and any newborn requiring continuous assessment, immediate intervention and prompt treatment. The FCCU provides care to recently delivered mothers, newborns as well as antepartum patients.

Candidates: Experience in these specialties is a plus due to patient population.
