Rotation Structure

All rotations occur at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center or at sites within close proximity. Our schedule consists of 13 - 4 week rotations

Didactics

Our weekly didactic sessions include a combination of Journal Club, Board Review, Grand Rounds, Morbidity and Mortality, Attending and Resident Lectures, and Case Reviews. Sessions are focused on an interactive approach to education to facilitate learning.

Educational Resources

Residents are provided with subscriptions to U World and MKSAP. Questions from U World and MKSAP are incorporated into the didactic curriculum weekly.

Residents have access to the Hospital library and the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine Library. All residents have Up-To-Date Subscriptions and memberships to the American College of Physicians which includes numerous resources including journals and podcasts.
