I grew up in Edenton, North Carolina, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Campbell University. While at Campbell, I was a member of the Track and Field team for four years. Having such great experiences at Campbell led me to stay there for pharmacy school, where I obtained my PharmD degree in 2022.

Throughout pharmacy school and PGY1, I found that I was continuously drawn to helping others learn. From students to colleagues, it always brought me joy to see others experience the “lightbulb moment” with a given concept. This drive to facilitate others' learning, as well as the opportunities to grow my own clinical experience, led me to pursue the PGY2 Internal Medicine pharmacy residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. By offering a blend of clinical rotation, robust opportunities in academia, and extensive research experience, this program will afford me the opportunity to become a well-rounded clinical pharmacist and educator. The appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy Practice with Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences is especially exciting to me, given my history with Campbell University. My current areas of interest include internal medicine, infectious diseases, and academia. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with extensive opportunities to grow.
