The challenge of caring for surgical patients is thrilling and exciting. Surgical Services crosses five hospitals through Cape Fear Valley Health. Whether in pre-testing, pre-op, OR, PACU/phase II recovery, or in the post-op inpatient unit we are looking for nurses who enjoy the challenge of quick thinking and high energy that is required to care for surgical patients in a fast paced and ever changing environment. In addition, Cardiac Surgery Operating Room is available for those OR nurses who prefer to specialize in this high demanding specialty. The Sterile Processing Department is also a very important and critical department within Surgical Services. This department looks for staff who are dedicated and take pride in a job well done. Candidates: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program. At least one-year surgical care experience. ACLS and telemetry experience required for PACU.
