The Heart and Vascular Center provides the latest in evidenced based care to Cardiac patients with chest pain, known coronary artery disease, or those who need cardiothoracic or vascular surgery. We manage patients throughout the continuum of care whether by partnering with other facilities and EMS to collaborate and share information about STEMI patient's pre-arrival, work up low to moderate risk Chest pain, provide cardiac diagnostic work up to include exercise or nuclear stress testing, echo, device follow up. We also have an accredited Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab program to support the continuum of care and assure long term health of our patients. Our highest acuity patients undergoing cardiac surgery or high-risk PCI benefit from the experienced team who can manage IABP, Impella, Targeted Temperature Management, ECMO, Valve Clinic and TAVR in CSICU. Our integrated progressive care unit collaborates closely with our CSICU to follow patients at a lower nurse to patient ratio (1:3) once they have transitioned out of ICU after surgery.

Our attention to training, case review, and quality is evidenced by our results, which are earned by the commitment of our team to continuous training and readiness and tracking of results. We are an accredited PCI center with SCPC, have achieved and maintained Mission Lifeline Gold Status for the hospital and EMS for STEMI, and are Joint commission accredited for AMI and Heart Failure.
