Forget Me Not Project

Cape Fear Valley is a proud sponsor of the national Forget Me Not Project, which promotes Alzheimer's disease awareness through entertainment and social interaction. The Forget Me Not Project will make its first visit to Fayetteville in April, and you're invited! Come be entertained, meet celebrity guests, and learn about Alzheimer's disease first hand.

Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, affecting more than 5 million people in the U.S. alone. It affects memory, thinking and behavior, and gradually worsens over time. It is currently the sixth-leading cause of death among Americans and affects African-American and Hispanic populations at greater rates.
