Cape Fear Valley Neurosurgery offers comprehensive neurosurgery services to citizens of Fayetteville and the Cape Fear Region. No longer must patients travel out of town to an academic medical center for treatment.

Located in the Medical Arts Center in downtown Fayetteville, Cape Fear Valley Neurosurgery currently has two neurosurgeons: Richard Osenbach, M.D., and John Spitalieri, D.O.

Dr. Osenbach serves as the center’s medical director. He brings a considerable resumé and experience. Prior to coming to Fayetteville, he taught at Duke University Medical Center as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery.

John Spitalieri, D.O., previously served as Chief of Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
