| Clinical Internships |
 Areas include Pediatrics (child-life only), Aquatics, and Physical RehabilitationClinical internships are offered three times a year, beginning in January for the spring term, mid-May for the summer term, and September for the fall term. Our internship meets all certification requirements in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. The clinical internship lasts for 12 consecutive weeks at 40 hours per week. (Some weekend work is required) Interns will be directly supervised by a LRT/CRTS. Interns must adhere to the policies and procedures developed and set forth by the department. Interns will be exposed to patients with CVA, TBI, SCI, and Orthopedic patients. *Note: Housing is limited, if interested please make arrangements as soon as possible. After the application and resume is reviewed, the student will be notified if they qualify for an interview. Interviews typically take place in October for spring term, February for summer term, and July for fall term. |
