T’ai Chi
T’ai Chi is an ancient form of Chinese exercise that uses slow, deliberate movements to strengthen and relax the body while improving balance. Great for all ages and fitness levels, T’ai Chi is an excellent stress reliever.

This weekly class includes meditation techniques, Chinese stretches, warm-ups, breathing techniques known as Chi Gong and traditional T’ai Chi exercises free of charge.
Nutrition Class

Nutrition Management
Our monthly nutrition classes are a great place to gather information and ask questions about proper diet during and after treatment.

Led by The Cancer Center’s dietitian, this complementary class provides information on herbal supplements (do’s and don’ts during treatment), nutritional management of treatment-related side effects, eating tips to enhance overall wellness, post-treatment nutrition and more!

Look Good, Feel Better
This monthly program, sponsored by the American Cancer Society and Friends of the Cancer Center, shares wig styling tips and make-up techniques for women who are going through cancer treatment. For more information on this free program, please call Rose Jones at 860-7710.
