June, 2008:

The ANCC/NCNA have reviewed several years' worth of evaluations for these educational offerings.  Based on responses from participants contact hours have been adjusted.  Consequently, you will notice a change in the amount of contact hour credits awarded to each of the educational offerings.

Welcome to the Modules section of our web site. These are texts of selected neonatal topics covering applicable embryology, risk factors, clinical presentation, medical, pharmacological and/or surgical management, nursing care, and parental issues.  Each module is learner-directed and has received Continuing Education Hours; credit varies with the modules length and/or complexity.  After reading a module,  complete  the accompanying computerized test on-line and submit it.  The test is graded electronically and you are  notified of your success or failure.  If you are successful, you are prompted to print out the accompanying Continuing Education Certificate (you may print as many copies as you'd like).  If you are unsuccessful, you are encouraged to re-read the material and retest.
