FAYETTEVILLE – Rick Irving has been appointed Corporate Director of Collaborative Care at Cape Fear Valley Health.
The Philadelphia native joined the health system in 2009 as an Emergency Department physician assistant.
Irving has 14 years of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care experience. He earned his master’s degree in Health Science from The Drexel University Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia, Penn.
In his new duties, Irving will oversee patient movement throughout their continuum of care at Cape Fear Valley, help manage clinical support for health system hospitalists, and manage patient care in a new Transition of Care Services Unit.
