Cape Fear Valley Phone Service To Be Upgraded

Cape Fear Valley’s phone system will be down this weekend for hardware and software upgrades in preparation of Valley Pavilion, the health system’s new patient tower. The downtime will be from 10 p.m. Saturday, May 10, to 10 a.m. Sunday, May 11.

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center, and other facilities on the medical center’s main Owen Drive campus will be affected, as will HealthPlex on Skibo Road.

The health system’s main switchboard will remain operational during this time. The number is 609-4000. Emergency phone lines and critical numbers on the campus will also stay operational.
