Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Lobby To Close For Construction
The central driveway and front lobby of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center will be closed beginning, Tuesday, April 29, due to construction on Valley Pavilion.
Medical center visitors will exit the parking deck via a covered walkway that will connect to the medical center. The Information Desk will be relocated to the hallway near the parking deck.
Patient discharges will leave from the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center lobby. The rehabilitation center is directly behind Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, off Melrose Road.
Valley Pavilion will open in early September. The new six-story patient tower will be home to Cape Fear Valley’s Heart & Vascular Center, a larger Emergency Department, a Children’s Emergency Department, Radiology and Imaging services, and 96 inpatient beds.
