Talk of the Town Salon held multiple fundraisers for Breast Care Awareness and presented a donation of $2,015 to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation's Friends of the Cancer Center Coordinator, Tara Brisson Hinton and Luanne Nicholson, Friends of the Cancer Center Council Member.

Thank you to Duggins Smith Builders for their continued sponsorship and support of the Circle of Friends Gala. With their help, more than $172,000 was raised for Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation at the 2013 Circle of Friends Gala. Presenting the donation are Nancy and Murray Duggins, Jim Smith and Wade Duggins. Accepting the donation is Emily Schaefer, Gala co-chair along with Nancy Duggins.  
Friends of Children
The Spirit of Children program along with the Spirit of Halloween stores in Fayetteville, Jacksonville and Wilmington presented the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s Friends of Children with a donation of $12,395. The generosity of this donation includes coupon proceeds, in store donations and a corporate contribution. Hendrick Chrysler Jeep of Fayetteville held multiple fundraisers in October 2012 for Breast Cancer Awareness. "Hendrick for A Cure" raised $1,537.96 to help provide free mammograms at Cape Fear Valley’s Breast Care Center. Presenting the donation is Dan Dederick, General Manager, Angela Holland, Business Development Manager, and Derrick Cassidy, Pre-Owned Car Manager. Accepting the donation is Tara Brisson Hinton, Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation's Friends of the Cancer Center Coordinator.
Friends of Children
The Girls Scouts of America Brownie Troop 3382 hand-made and delivered blankets to Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s Friends of Children. These blankets will be given to newborns and their families at Cape Fear Valley Health.
