Dear Cape Fear Valley Partner,
On behalf of the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation, I am pleased to announce our 23rd Annual Golf and Tennis Classic. Thanks to the combined generosity of many businesses and individuals, this event continues to be a huge success in raising vital funds for the children at Cape Fear Valley Health. We continue to have an immeasurable appreciation for those who help us as we help others.
Proceeds from the 23rd Annual Golf and Tennis Classic will equip our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with NICVIEW, an innovative small web camera system that allows parents, family and friends to view their preemie or hospitalized infant in real-time, 24/7, through a secure online portal. Individual camera pods are placed at each designated bed in the NICU and viewing of the baby's intimate environment is protected by encrypted transmissions. This state-of-the-art online, live video service will enhance family-centered care by being an available resource to help families develop a bond with their preemie or hospitalized infant even when they cannot physically be bedside. Along with strengthening trust and providing reassurance to our NICU families, this sophisticated camera system is a valuable clinical tool in neonatal care.
Your donation helps ensure that we can continue providing the best treatment, with the latest high-tech facilities and equipment, at the hands of the most capable physicians and experienced staff. We work hard to guarantee quality and compassionate medical care is available for the smallest patients in our health system.
