Since 2007, the Circle of Friends Gala has contributed more than $1,800,000 to support patients at Cape Fear Valley Health. This event is known throughout the community as an elegant, beautiful affair that sells out every year, while raising much needed funds to enhance the health and wellness of our community. We are thankful to have a dedicated community of supporters, like you, who make this possible year after year.

Proceeds from the 2017 Gala were designated to fund the establishment of a Training Simulation Lab and provide funds for the much needed “Sim Junior”, a child size and life like, high fidelity simulation training manikin. In addition, funding helped Cape Fear Valley Health expand the Lung Nodule Clinic, adjacent to the Cancer and CyberKnife Treatment Center. In years past, Gala proceeds have been used to renovate inpatient pediatric rooms, provide seed monies for a Neuroscience Institute at Cape Fear Valley Health, as well as ongoing support for the patient programs and services of Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation. The 2018 Circle of Friends Gala will provide funding to assist with the Medical Residency Program at Cape Fear Valley Health, launching in the summer of 2017. Remaining proceeds will be designated to the greatest needs at Cape Fear Valley Health.

We hope we can count on your support of the 2018 Circle of Friends Gala. The 2017 Gala was filled to capacity with over 480 attendees and raised more than $226,000 for Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation whose mission is to serve the community by building awareness and philanthropic support for Cape Fear Valley Health, as it provides compassionate, quality healthcare for all its patients. You will be making a difference to so many in our community, for which we are grateful.

Final deadline for sponsorship commitments is November 1, 2017. The value of goods and services received is $60 per person. Sponsorships are filled according to the return of your pledge form to the Foundation office.
