Non-Traditional Paramedic

Cape Fear Valley Health System employs 35 paramedics between Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and Hoke Healthcare. The paramedics work in the Emergency Departments but can function anywhere in the hospital. Due to the unique nature of the paramedic scope of practice, the Emergency Department environment benefits greatly from the integration of paramedics.
