Behavorial Health Care of Cape Fear Valley Health System offers inpatient services for adults. Outpatient mental health services are offered for children age four and older, adolescents and adults. Our staff includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, recreational and occupational therapists, and case managers. Behavorial Health Care of Cape Fear Valley Health System provides a team approach to mental wellness. This well established program is part of the 7th largest Health System in the State and is a regional referral center with clinical affliations with Cleveland Clinic, Duke University Medical Center and UNC Health Care.

Health System seeks to add BE/BC Psychiatrists for area volumes.

Adult - Outpatient/Flex Impatient:
Typically M-F 8-5 p.m., no holidays. Clinic is primarily work site, but could have inpatient requests for consults in Medical Center, additionally may see patients in Behavorial Hospital located on campus. Detox experience is needed to best serve our population. Must be willing to work as a team member.

Adult - Inpatient
Traditional inpatient scope of services is needed for local patient volumes. ECT training and experiences are necessary. Must be willing to work as a team member. Patient records are online and easily accessible through Physicians Internet link. Specialty and support services are available and many are hospital based.

Adolescent/Child - Outpatient
Typically, M-F 8-5 p.m., must be willing to work as a team member, which may require accepting limited inpatient call for emergency situations. Joining child MD already in place. Private office space onsite with trained medical assistant and dedicated waiting room. Patient records are online and easily accessible through Physicians Internet link. Childrens ED (17 beds) includes holding area as necessary for transfers.

Guaranteed base salary, productivity incentive plan, quality incentives bonus plan, benefits package to include: professional liability coverage, health, dental, retirement, disability, CME, and paid time off of 280 hours per calendar year, plus relocation allowance.
