NURSE RESIDENCY PROGRAMS for Medical Surgical/Progressive Care/Family Center Care/Pediatrics
Cape Fear Valley Health System offers a comprehensive New Graduate Nurse Residency Programs. We offer students high quality instruction in nursing theory and clinical practice. We are committed to providing an opportunity for the new graduate nurses to build a strong acute care foundation and become highly skilled practitioners. In doing so, a great amount of resources are dedicated to this goal. We ask that residents offer an equally high degree of commitment in return.
Course Descriptions: Medical Surgical/Progressive Care/Family Center Care/Pediatric Residency are 16 week programs that consist of two weeks of Hospital and Nursing Core Orientation, followed by14 weeks of clinical and classroom experiences designed with the adult learner in mind.

Program Begin Date: February 10, 2014
At this time, we will only be accepting May & December 2013 new graduate RNs. All applicants must have the following when applying to the Residency Program.
