How to Apply for the RN-NG Nurse Residency Programs

All applicants must have the following when applying to the Nurse Residency Programs:
External Applicant:

• Online Employment Application
• Updated Resume and Cover Letter
• New Grads, MUST submit 2 Clinical Reference letters
• Completed Nurse Residency Packet

• Employee Transfer Application (available in Human Resources or via Human Resources Infoweb/Recruitment)
• Updated Resume
• Reference form completed by Patient Care Manager
• Completed Nurse Residency Packet

Eligibility

• Hace Current RN license for North Carolina or Compact State RN licensure (refer to CFVHS guidelines for Compact Eligibility).
• Be a new graduate with RN license or eligible to take the NCLEX (must be licensed by Program start date)
• Two-year employment commitment
