C.A.R.E. Group (Cancer Advocacy, Resource and Education)
An education and support group for men and women with cancer and their families and friends, C.A.R.E meets on the first Thursday of each month, 6-7:30 p.m. in the conference room (basement level) at the Cancer Center of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Common Ground Prostate Education Group
For prostate cancer patients and their families and friends, this group meets on the second Thursday of each month, 6-7 p.m. in the conference room (basement level) at the Cancer Center of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Coming Together Children’s Support Group
For children of cancer patients, this group meets in the third Thursday of each month, 6-8 p.m. in the conference room (basement level) at the Cancer Center of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Facing Forward Cancer Support Group
For women living with cancer, Facing Forward meets approximately every other second Tuesday of the month, 7-8:30 p.m. in the conference room (basement level) at the Cancer Center of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Each session offers a presentation on a topic related to cancer and women’s wellness. The group is facilitated by a licensed social worker and is open to the public.
