Our treatment areas include:
Therapists work with patients to promote safe ambulation, proper use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment, stair training, balance strategies, range of motion and strengthening exercises, self-care and home management strategies, as well as providing patients and family members with appropriate education.
The physical and occupational therapy departments at the Fitness Center provide therapy services independent of the Fitness Center. Because the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department is located within the fitness facility, our members can receive therapy that is ‘close to home.’ We can also assist our patients with transitioning into a fitness program following completion of therapy.
Our outpatient clinic sees a high volume of patients with chronic pain and we can effectively help these patients. We offer patients therapy in the fitness pool when their conditions prevent pain free therapy in a land-based setting.
Our clinic boasts an experienced Occupational Therapist, who is able to manage patients with shoulder, wrist and hand problems.
